Current Topic: Natural Selection Current STEMscope: Natural Selection Being able to understand, and even better, explain the natural phenomena we experience here on Earth is quite powerful. In this class, we study two different science disciplines: biology and meteorology. More importantly, we practice how to think like a scientist. There is an emphasis on evidence - what data do we have and what can we learn from our observations? We practice science using the scientific method, to ensure a fair test and valid data, and draw conclusions based on experimentation and modeling.
Einstein reminded us to never stop questioning. Being curious about how the universe works is the cornerstone of all sciences. Here at BRMS, we continue the endeavor, asking questions, collecting evidence, making discoveries, and constantly expanding our knowledge and understanding of the natural world. Welcome to 7th grade science! Here, we are all scientists! |
